Equine Treadmills
The Aldershot Treadmill is a robust fixed incline treadmill designed for exercising sport horses. Built to industrial standards and supplied with either a hydrostatic hydraulic drive or with an electronic converter driver, the treadmill provides a safe exercising environment for fine tuning the strength and stamina of a wide range of horses. Treadmills develop the chest cavity and tone up horses through the back, shoulders and quarters.
The small profile of a treadmill allows stables with limited space to provide an all year round covered training facility in-house. The treadmill is set at a fixed angle such that 20 minutes walking is equal to 90 minutes walking on the road.
Installation is simple, customers need a hard standing space of 15ft x 5ft with a clear height of 11ft. The treadmill should
be installed in an area where
horses at exercise are not going to be distracted by general stable activities. Good ventilation is essential and for summer use, the training area should be open at the front and back, with a well insulated roof.
